The 46th annual CMA awards made their debut on ABC last night to over 13 million viewers. The show was filled with Gangnam Style dancing, colorful jabs at the famous faces and performances that literally blew you away. However, buried underneath all of that were nine televised awards given out to the top acts in country music this year.

This may have been one of the most unexpected award shows yet with some big surprises, new faces and streaks that just could not be broken.

Little Big Town took away two awards after thirteen years of patiently awaiting their turn to finally walk up on the Bridgestone Arena stage and accept a CMA. Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert once again took home a couple’s set of Male and Female Vocalist of the Year awards with Miranda adding, “I don’t necessarily deserve this, but I’ll sure take it.” Blake took home the biggest award of the night, Entertainer of the Year, over Red hot Taylor Swift and stadium-selling Jason Aldean.

Some other winners of the night include our clients who saw familiar faces in their lineup accept awards. Craven Country Jamboree has announced Kenny Chesney, Musical Event of the Year winner, to their lineup and Oregon Jamboree will have Toby Keith, Music Video of the Year winner, on their stage.
