Wild West Songwriters Festival

The October Fest of Song Writers in Deadwood, South DakotaThe Neste Event Marketing team is back in Nashville after producing the first annual Wild West Songwriters Festival in Deadwood, South Dakota.

Deadwood Mountain Grand was treated to songwriters from all over the country participating in Writers Rounds, Songwriter panels and even daily happy hours. The performances blended genres offering the audience a taste of Grammy winning rock from the lead singer of Tonic, Emerson Hart, new country from Wayne Kirkpatrick’s Little Big Town hits and even a little contemporary with actor Tyler Hilton, during just one portion of Friday’s Writers Rounds.

Other performers from the weekend have penned hits for country’s Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift and Reba and rock’s Fuel, Jack’s Mannequin and Eric Clapton . . . to name drop a few.

From Thursday to Saturday, October 11-13, two dozen of these songwriters told the stories of the hits and performed them the way they were originally written. These “In the Round” shows, the style of which originated in Nashville, gave the audience a chance to see the faces behind some of music’s biggest hits–Love like CrazyShe’s Country and American Honey.

The show was such a smash Neste is already working on next year’s event.

It’s time to expose the voices behind the curtain, and trust us, you’ll like what you see. Get more information here: http://www.facebook.com/WildWestSongwritersFestival
